Rates:  

$44/ hour (no, that’s not a type-o and there isn’t a decimal place missing)

            $440/ 10 hour day lock out

We don’t offer special rates for “Day lock outs” because our hourly rates are so fantastically low, if we were to knock any more off of the price, we’d have to use tin foil stretched across the bare end of a power cable inside of a bean can for microphones instead of the real things…

We require a $100 per day deposit, which will be deducted from your total billable amount for the project. Your deposit will not be refunded if the session is cancelled with less than 5 days notice. Exceptions will be made for serious illness or death, not for lack of rehearsal or money.

Also required is the signing of the Wormwood Sound “Production Contract”.  To View a sample contract click here

Recording Medium:

Hard Drives can be purchased for a project through Wormwood-Sound or on their own (as long as the drive is compatible) for HD24 sessions.

Hard drive space rental @ $1.00 / Gigabyte for HD24 sessions and Pro Tools sessions. 

(Drive space must be rented for Pro Tools sessions, unless a high speed (5400 rpm, or higher) external drive is brought by project)

Archiving:

             If a project wishes its recorded material be archived at Wormwood-Sound,

 a one time charge of $5.00 per DVD or hard drive will be assessed.

 Editing:

             We provide editing of pre recorded material (Mono or Stereo only) for $32 per hour with a one hour minimum.

CD's:

            We will make you a cd of your own material for $1.50 per cd .

Fees for services rendered are due upon completion of each session, unless prior arrangements are made.
